Premier League Predictions and Key Fantasy Players: 9th, 10th & 11th Feb

Here we have this week’s premier league predictions and key fantasy players to help you along with betting, fantasy leagues and just for a bit of fun! Let us know your thoughts!

TOTTENHAM 2-1 NEWCASTLE – Tottenham are without Jermain Defoe and subsequently have no strikers to call upon. Spurs still have more than enough fire power to cause damage to the Newcastle back line. Newcastle have dug deep in recently and have started to achieve the results expected. New signings are settling in well.

Key Fantasy Player: Gareth Bale – scoring, assisting and causing hell for defences.

CHELSEA 4-0 WIGAN – Chelsea fans are still giving Rafa Benitez a rough ride. Their attacking powers far outweigh their defensive frailties. Juan Mata has been a solid performer linking well with Torres. If Chelsea attack as they can, Wigan will not be able to handle the onslaught.

Key Fantasy Player: Juan Mata – expensive but providing points week in week out.

NORWICH 1-1 FULHAM – A tight and somewhat unknown affair at Carrow Road. Both teams are inconsistent and attempting to gain as many points as possible to avoid the drop. Fulham have the bigger squad and better quality on paper but Norwich are resilient at home and will battle for every point.

Key Fantasy Player: Grant Holt and/or Dimitar Berbatov. Both defences cant guarantee clean sheets. Look for goals from the front men.

STOKE 2-0 READING – Reading have achieved some results worthy of congratulation in recent weeks. A tough physical game at Stoke may prove a step too far. Stoke are, as always, a formidable force at home and are always hard to beat.

Key Fantasy Player: Robert Huth/Asmir Begovic – Clean Sheets

SUNDERLAND 1-1 ARSENAL – Sunderland are starting to solidify under Martin O’Neill and will be a hard opposition for Arsenal. The Gunners are by far the better footballing team but inconsistent and lacking in solidarity. Expect rested players due to international commitments.

Key Fantasy Player: Santi Cazorla – As always. Rested last week, should feature from the start this week and pull the strings.

SWANSEA 0-0 QPR – QPR have become a much improved defensive unit and will look to shut out a Swansea attack led by Michu. Swansea are a solid team at home but dont expect QPR to lay down and take it. Performances are still improving under Harry Redknapp. Could go either way, sitting on the fence with a bore draw. QPR graft to gain some unexpected points.

Key Fantasy Player: Michu or Chris Samba – Not much in this one. Points may be hard to find.

SOUTHAMPTON 1-0 MAN CITY – A shock may be on the cards at St Marys. Southampton are still playing well under new management and will play good football against a superior Manchester City side. Manchester City will bring all the quality but may be fatigued due to international commitments.

Key Fantasy Player: James Puncheon/Nathaniel Clyne – Cheap and regular points achievers.

ASTON VILLA 0-1 WEST HAM – No doubt about it, Villa are in big trouble and need to start turning things round. The team is young, inexperienced and performing poorly. West Ham are not exactly Barcelona when it comes to good football. Villa seem to struggle against teams will good ability in the air. Andy Carroll, Kevin Nolan and Carlton Cole may have a field day here…..but doubt it! West Ham to pull through and scrape a win in a poor match. If Benteke is on form, it could be very different.

Key Fantasy Player: Kevin Nolan – Engine of the West Ham team.

MAN UTD 2-1 EVERTON – Man Utd to shade a very tight and high quality game. Everton are very tough opposition and will look to get a result at OT. It certainly isn’t out of the question. Utd may field some experienced heads due to international fatigue. Man Utd should still have the edge and home advantage to squeeze out a win.

Key Fantasy Player: Rafael – Defensive points but also attacking threat, Rooney or RVP for goals.

LIVERPOOL 2-2 WEST BROM – Liverpool will expect to beat West Brom. Lets not forgot WBA have pulled some excellent results out of the bag so far this season. Liverpool are on and off at the flick of a switch will consistency problems although they have climbed to just outside the eurpoean places.

Key Fantasy Player: Luis Suarez – Cheeky tip, Liverpool play twice this gameweek (midweek fixture) so Suarez as captain of the side and possibly Sterling as another points scorer if he recovers from injury!
